I also got a cookbook - which is very welcome, since I didn't ship any of mine over here.  Mine is called Stewed, Nourish Your Soul, which sounds just about right for this weather we are having.  Thanks, ColleenfromPA - good pick!

I also got a fantastic cookbook!  :D

I am terrible at getting pics posted but it's called Culinaria Southeast Asia and it's just amazing! Not just recipes but history and pictures. I don't know who my Secret Santa is but a huge thank you for choosing a perfect gift!  :D

That's me! I know you like to travel and asian food so I wanted to get something where you could look up things to eat and order in those countries (if you went there) and read a little about where the dishes come from and also had nice photography. I also wanted to get you something with Indonesian stuff in, as I'm half Indonesian and I like to spread the love :)

I was totally worried it would be a huge faux pas as you're vegetarian and it isn't a 100% veggie book but I did check to see if it had veggie recipes in as well, so I'm glad that worked out okay!

(I also was going to drop it round at your house, but figured it would be really obvious it was me!) :)

My gift is at the house next to mine (apparently the neighbors took the package) and hopefully Santa will remind my ex to go and get it.  But, huzzah to my Secret Santa- it has landed!  ;)

I received and opened my gift last Saturday!! I'm not so big on the waiting thing. LOL

I got a gorgeous hat!  [smiley=hat.gif] I am 99.9% sure it was handmade by Historyenne which makes it even better. It's is a light purple color and has a very pretty bow on the front. I will post a pic of it soon! I  [smiley=heart.gif] this hat!

Thank you so much for the lovely gift Historyenne!

Dear Santa,

Thank you for your most welcome gift, it came at a time when it was needed very much to lift my spirits......The crochet neck warmer will be cherished for many years to come, and I love the token key chain, the warm socks for my cold old feet and the lovely little sweet surprise....but I have to tell you when I saw the book, Chicken Soup for the Mothers Soul, I cried and when I read the very first story I cried, not tears of sadness but of joy....you have made my Christmas a little brighter and I will cherish your kindness and hold you in my heart forever.....Thank you!!!!!   [smiley=heart.gif]

Oh, how I wish I could claim credit for it, but unfortunately I am not that talented :).  It was handmade, but not by me.  I'm really glad you like it, though!

My gift arrived today, fortunately I was home to answer the door when it arrived!  It's a collection of Indian spice mixes, pickles, and chutneys.  I loove Indian food but am not very good at making it myself, so this will be great for me!  I can't wait to try my hand at a curry.  Also, I got a bar of handmade Christmas soap from Lyme Regis that smells fantastic!  Thanks, Barbara!

Thank you any way! I knew it was handmade, although it looks like something you could spend a fortune on in the shops! Who ever made it did a great job!  :)

Cheesebiscuit-
Although your package made it across the ocean from America in record time, apparently the elf who was in charge of getting it to you once it was in the UK had some difficulties thanks to the snow.  The elf tells me it should arrive before Christmas, though!  My apologies for the delay.

Merry Christmas everyone!  I'm pleased to see everyone enjoying their gifts so much!
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!!!
