By poor taste, I mean chugging beer and shouting "U-S-A, U-S-A" in front of the White House, for a start. We haven't won the World Cup, folks.
Have a vigil remembering all the people he killed, make a donation to a charity that benefits his victims, have a march of solidarity or something. He was an ignorant, intolerant, and violent man, and to me, nothing about him deserves to be celebrated, including his death. Celebrating his death the way people are places an importance on his life, and I don't think he deserves that privilege.
It's hardly justice for what he's done, and for someone that has no regard for human life, it was hardly a punishment for him either. Heck, now he's a martyr as far as he and his ilk would be concerned.
Am I happy there is one less hatemonger on the planet? Abso-freaking-lutely. But, I just can't get behind this party mentality. But that's just my opinion, and I know that it certainly doesn't change the way anyone else is going to react or feel about it, and I don't expect it to. I guess it's just for the sake of saying it, really.
