I'm in the 'would be lost without FB' category too. It really helps for keeping up with family and friends back home, plus there are a couple games I'd actually have some free time if I wasn't addicted to.

I just needed to vent about people. But as it was said above, most people are the same on FB as they are in life. If you are the 'tell all about all' type offline, it only stands to reason you would be online, since even private people are more open online because it 'feels' more anonymous than face to face talking.
I've been on Twitter almost a year now, and I have made just under 210 tweets. I get the idea of it, and can see how it is a great place, although not so much my thing. Hubby and a friend are on there all the time, with either random silly thoughts, or using it as a free texting service to each other - although both have unlimited free texts each month. I signed up for Google+ and have never really used it or even liked it. I suppose each of the social network sites have their up and down sides and everyone gravitates toward the one(s) that work for them.
Still, I do wish some people on my list would think about some of the things they post, and whether or not it is something they want the whole world to know.
