Now I'm on to a book called Over by  Margaret Forster. The subject matter is pretty depressing - it's about a couple whose daughter is killed in a sailing accident - but it's beautifully written.

I've never read that, but I do like Margaret Forster's writing!

Finished My Lobotomy. it wasn't what I expected to be honest.  It read more like A Child Called It than what I thought it would be about.  It's less about the actual lobotomy and more about this poor man's difficult life.

Onto The Man In The High Castle, as recommended by Cheesebiscuit  ;D

Going to read one of those Twilight books this weekend. I guess I had to give in sooner or later. :)

Yes, and I absolutely loved the first half or so of the book.

I am reading "UFO in her eyes" by Xiaolu Guo.

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I thought parts of it were really interesting but I wasn't enamoured with it overall, I think I found it hard to relate to the protagonist.

I'm going to try Mockingbird by Walter Tevis next and someone has recommended the Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell.

If anyone is into this stuff and didn't read Blindness by Jose Saramago, I'd recommend highly.

I liked it alot except for the very last bit. Thought it was superfluious.

The Smartest Guys in the Room by Bethany McLean ad Peter Elkind

Whoever recommended Salt: did you like it?
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"
