I just bought Abraham Lincoln Vampire Killer by Seth Grahame-Smith. I didn't read his other book, but I'm excited for this.

I haven't read that one, but I love all things Mitford!  :D

All things Mitford...  :D  I'm still reading the bio (I told you it would take me forever) but now I'm in the midst of Mitford Mania.  There are so many links from Mitfords to celebrities, historical events, writers, books movies, etc, that I now have a little game I play which is like "Six Degrees of Mitfords" or something in which I figure out how whatever I'm reading, or who I'm talking to, can be linked in some way to Mitfords.  Escapism yay!

Just read Nick Hornby's "Juliet, Naked".  Enjoyed it, although I kept feeling like the voice was super similar to a number of other books I've read. (Sort of slouching through personal revelation type voice).  Fun and quick read though.

I just finished Eifelheim, by Michael Flynn.  This is an extremely well written, fantastic hard SF story - first contact in the middle ages, with physics as well as engaging characters.

I just finished reading this book to. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy this book, but Morgan Leafy is a brilliant creation! The story had me laughing out loud and I look forward to reading more of William Boyd's work.

On Woodlily's recommendation, I started Call the Midwife yesterday and finished it this afternoon.  It was really entertaining; I didn't want it to end!

Back to some Philippa Gregory for a while I think.  The Other Queen has been sitting on my bookshelf for far too long.

My latest read is Stones into Schools by Greg Mortenson, the author of Three Cups of Tea.  Excellent!  This man is amazing.  If you have not read Three Cups of Tea, do read it first.  The author has matured and gained in wisdom since Three Cups of Tea You'll miss that if you start with Stones into Schools.

I'm reading Twilight now. Got 3 of the Twilight books at Waterstone's, 3 for 2 sale's been on for ages, thought I might as well get them now. Wanted them for ages, so that I could get lost in them and the rest of the world(i.e.the in-laws) would just pass me by. :D It's working well. :D
