I just started The Help. The jury's still out.

I enjoyed it. I thought the end was too rushed though.

I just started Small Island. I hope it lives up to the hype its given on here.

Starting Mistress Shakespeare by Karen Harper. Also picked up a copy of Nicholson Baker's Double fold which I've been meaning to read for eons.

I have finished reading C.J. Sansom's Heartstone, and two books by Kate Atkinson--Human Croquet and When Will There Be Good News?  I will probably start another Kate Atkinson tonight.

Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand has been recommended to me as excellent nonfiction.  Hillenbrand is the author of Seabiscuit.

I've heard excellent things about Unbroken as well, let us know how you like it!
Currently re-reading Treasure Island--I do love this story.

OK, I will.  I still have to buy it, and I think it will be a very emotional read.  If you Google reviews for Unbroken, you'll find one by the Telegraph which gives it top marks.

I picked up a copy of Moll Flanders at my library tonight.  I'm hoping to re-read it over the weekend.

A collection of Frank O'Connor short stories which I am finding compulsive reading, mainly because they can be a bit funny, but I can't decide if he loves himself or hates himself.  I've read a few of them at different times, but never all at once and in chronological order.  I read one out loud to Mr A, and he instantly disliked the protagonist, although he thought the story was good.

I've become a bit scatter brained since the ipod reader has come into my life. I stopped reading Jo's Boys and have begun Cecilia by Fanny Burney.

Now I have started The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.  I hadn't heard of it, but my mom gave it to me for Christmas because she really enjoyed it.   Looking forward to a novel after a bout of non-fiction!  :)

Just finished this today.  I could not put it down.  It was a bit corny at times but I loved it.  I think he's written a sequel to it, so I may have to pick that up.  Not sure what to read next from my stack of books from Christmas...

ETA: I've settled on Elizabeth George's A Great Deliverance:)
