Thanks for posting those titles FunGirl. I'm quickly becoming a Bourdain groupie myself!

Happy to! :)

A Christmas Caroline

Total fun chicklit.

The Secret Garden. One of my 101/1001 list items was to re-read 10 of my favourite children's books. And a friend kindly got me a gorgeous new illustrated hardback version of this one for Christmas!

One of my favourites!! But I didn't read it until I was an adult.  I loved it.  Fond memories of me sitting in the back of the car on the way to Niagra Falls, totally absorbed.

I tried reading it as a child, but I couldn't get into it at all.  Perhaps I'll add it to my reading list.  That, and James and the Giant Peach.  Never did finish it. :-\\\\

Still struggling with "The Scarlet Letter"  :-\\\\  I'm also reading a book called "Master Lighting Guide For Portraits Photographers".  It's a techie book but a good read anyway.

Just finished Augusten Burroughs' Dry, which I really enjoyed, and I just started Time Traveller's Wife.

Snagged one from my mom's coffee table yesterday, "Vanish" by Tess Gerritsen, quick light suspense read, pretty good.

The Breaker by Minette Walters. I needed a quick easy-to-read thriller.

That is such a good book!  Think it's time I read it again.

A true crime book called No Daddy, Don't.

The Carlyles at Home by Thea Holme. It's about the day-to-day life of Thomas and Jane Carlyle in Chelsea in the mid-1800s.
