that they hadn't liked before.

My husband LOVES coffee.  He never drank it until he met me, being a proper tea drinking bloke.  But now, if it's not ready in the morning or he forgets his travel mug at work he gets so cranky!!!

LOL.  Come to the light dear child.......worship the caffiene!

Hubby loves a biscuits and gravy breakfast as much as he loves a good English fry-up!  ;)

Shorts!  When I first suggested he wear them his response was, "My knees haven't seen the sun since I was a schoolboy in short trousers."

My husband is fondly known as my paste-y, white Englishman.  If the sun blinks at him, he burns.  If we are going to be outside for long periods of time, I have to cover him in factor 30 sun cream, including his scalp!

Pancakes!  You know, the breakfast food, not the dessert.   ;)

There have been loads of things that just haven't quite "clicked" for Jamie - including pancakes/waffles, pumpkin pie, and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. But I've also had great success on the coffee front, Aimiloo! He used to only drink tea or (GASP) instant coffee  [smiley=puke.gif] Now not only does he insist on brewed coffee, he's become picky about the beans too! Our coffee grinder just broke and I think he's having as hard a time as I am without it!!!

Pancakes...more specifically, blueberry pancakes.  But, as a "country girl" I've also gotten him into homemade jams and jellies, and proper home-cooked meals.

There are SO many things though, I'd never be able to list them all...oh, I have gotten him into proper American slang...he is so cute when he tells someone that they "don't have the moxee" for something ;-)

Tootsie Rolls. He doesn't even like sweets.

I think I used it in the wrong context, or maybe spelled it wrong (it's not a word I use often at all)

"Moxee" is used as a substitue for "guts" "balls" "nerves"...It's one of those words that is very hard to find the "right" place for, and it took Paul a few failed attempts before he finally used it in the right context...
