Any updates from recent applicants?

You are posting about ILR but the prior posts are FLR - perhaps that explains the different wait times ?

I think there were one or two other ILR posts in the last few pages. But I've also seen quick turnaround times for ILR applications on other sites, though not on the basis of marriage.

EU Residence Card finally secured - arrived when we were on vacation in the US (of course).

31 December - sent in application
05 January - acknowledgement of application receipt
15 January - COA issued with right to work
Feb/March - requested passports back
20 April - change of address
04 May - Code 1A stamp issued at LHR
16 May - Code 1A stamp issued at LGW
17 May - EU five-year residence card received, issued 8 May

Unfortunately its on a separate piece of paper, but since we had so much travel lined up in May I needed my passport.  Hopefully this makes the next two trips go a bit easier and eliminates the 10 minute wait for someone to find the right stamp.

Quick timeline (since others' timelines have been helpful):

Submitted and paid online May 16th 2015
Biometrics appointment May 20th 2015
Paperwork sent via UPS May 22nd 2015

now starts the nervous waiting.

I just sent mine this morning. It's going to be nerve wracking to wait!

Biometrics May 15th
Did you do priority?  We didn't because the time line doesn't seem too awful and we don't plan to travel until September 3rd.( hopefully)

21st of April: Letter received that FLR(M) will be passed on
5th of May: Sent Biometrics
23rd of May: First FLR(M) Approved!

We didn't pay for priority.   Travel plan is July 20th, so we're cutting it a little fine, but recent spouse settlement visas seem to only be taking around a month.  If it's delayed a little that will be fine.

Is there any place that you can check your application status online? Or do you have to wait for their email to get updates on your application status?

Unfortunately, no.  You just need to wait for any emails they send; sometimes you may only get the "decision has been made" email with no correspondence in between.

Got the email today, a decision has been made on my application!  Should hopefully receive it Monday or Tuesday.  Fingers crossed it's approved.

Huge, massive thanks to everyone here on the forum who guided me through the process.  Especially KFDancer and Ksand.  Thank you for putting up with my panic, and calmly giving advice.  Now, I'm going to celebrate, relax, and I'm sure I'll be back for the next round after the wedding...
