We've confirmed the application now! Scary.

My wife has go the paper type airway bill and just inserted her credit card details on it. She has also blanked out the 'from' address and weight for them to fill out.

That should do it shouldn't it?

Tomorrow makes a month (calendar days, not business days, but still) since my documents were delivered to Sheffield and I have heard nothing since receiving the acknowledgment email the day after they were delivered. I still have a month until I was hoping to be able to leave but this is just a huge bummer now and the more time that passes, the more I worry that something has gone wrong.

I'm pretty sure they won't respond to any inquiries about the status only a month later but what a drastic difference from people who sent theirs just a week before I did...

I did that with a UPS waybill and I got an email back from UKBA saying they needed an account # to send my documents back, they would not accept the waybill with a CC number on it for return shipment.  I got on the phone and created an account with Fedex for the return and emailed them the account number. I had a lot of trouble for some, still, unknown reason creating an online account with UPS....
Sooooo, you might want to have your wife create an online account with Fedex or UPS? Then add the return envelope for either Fedex/UPS and include the account number.  UKBA will then just charge the return shipping to your account.

Good luck!  :D

Thanks for that. I'll get her to get an account then!

I'm assuming any envelope can be used to return the items?

I'm two days behind you and no news either. The most awful wait I have ever experienced. Fingers crossed we hear something this week.

Not sure about that, but I am guessing and to also to be on the safe side, if she is using Fedex, should be a Fedex envelope or UPS, then a UPS envelope....

My wife's application has just arrived in Sheffield this morning (We were tracking it on the USPS website). Am I right in thinking they normally send and email to confirm that it has arrived?

What is the approximate processing time for priority?

Has anyone gotten ILR recently?  I'm at 14 weeks waiting now.  I love the UK but I need a vacation to some place warm!

Sorry to spam, but this question doesn't deserve a new tread.

I'm struggling to word a question on the Appendix 2 form, for a spouse visa.

It asks have me and my wife have ever lived together akin to marriage (and after marriage)? If no, give details why.

Well, cos I live here and she lives there!

That's why.

How are you supposed to word it?

Just that. Write that you have lived in different countries and have not had the opportunity to live together.

Posted on another page but just found this one today. I applied using Priority (I didn't pay for Priority in August and waited almost 2 months) and will paste my current timeline below. Does anyone know what the timeline is looking like right now for Priority Services?

My timeline looks like this:

Tuesday, March 4: Arrived back in NYC and sent in online app/paid.

Sunday, March 9: Purchased Priority Service and printed email.

Monday, March 10: Biometrics Appt and entire package (Settlement Priority Service scrawled in large permanent marker letters on outside) FedExed to Sheffield.

Wednesday, March 12: Package tracked as 'Delivered' to UKBA Sheffield.

Thursday, March 13: Received email from UKBA confirming processing of application.
23 July 2013 - sent package to UKBA in Sheffield.
25 July2013 - package received at UKBA
7 August 2013 - received emails saying Visa being processed, and needing a Fed-Ex account number
