As the person who's curating it, nope. None.

We have two March users who still haven't gotten their decisions to my knowledge, and none from April or May.

Thanks for answering. I'm new to the site and still trying to figure it all out. After looking at all the timelines for nonpriority I'm seriously regretting we didn't do it. Application received March 30 and nothing since then. Solicitor says "in a week or so" but wondering if we should contact him about priority. Need to travel in 2 weeks!
Can you tell me the dates the other March applicants applied and then got visa? Still about 53 days?

No problem! I completely understand that reaction.

The March users who reported getting their decisions:

Date of Docs received email from Sheffield//Username//Date of Decision Email from Sheffield//(Total Business Days)

March 2   Smelton   May 11   (49)

March 6   elliemaemc   May 24   (56)

March 9   Jessmh   May 22  (51)

The average wait time for Non-Priority (which includes the late Feb applicants) is around 53.5 days, but I expect the wait to increase because it's getting into the longer wait time of the year.

Unfortunately, I can't really offer any advice on what to do in your situation, but I wouldn't recommend upgrading retroactively since it's such a large gamble. Sheffield has honoured a couple upgrades, but they could stop that at any time with any person.

Looking for others that applied nonpriority in mid to late March. Hoping to get a better idea of processing times. Thanks.

On this forum, I only know of one user, jningc, who applied in late March (31st), and they have not reported back that they received their visa. Everyone else who has said that they're non-priority is in April or May, that I know of.

It may be worth it to check other forums to see if someone else has reported being a late March and hearing back. I don't know if any, but the users on here might point you in the right direction.

Edit: Just went back to check to see when jningc got their confirmation email from Sheffield and altered the date.

What date did you receive the "application being prepared for processing" email?  You may actually be an April application as that is when the clock starts.

You may need to postpone your travel plans unfortunately.  Even cancelling your application takes up to 20 business days to receive your passport back.  Where are you traveling to?

Unfortunately there are poor lawyers out there and it sounds like you may have received very inaccurate advice.

I just want to say the email from Sheffield is extremely misleading "your application is currently being considered by an entry clearance officer" makes it sound like more than 'we received your application, which will be processed as soon as possible'

That's true, it's just completely unfair considering we all know it'll be in a pile of other applications for weeks. I've only waited 5BD and I'm going crazy. All of my in laws keep asking me when I'll be there or telling me I'll be there soon, but this has been the slowest week of my life, so I feel for people who have waited months.
