re: OITNB does anyone else wish they had skipped episodes 2-9 or even 10 and had a lot more past the last episode?  I didn't need the events of this season to go on as long as they did.  Maybe next season will be better.

Yep!

I watched the 5th series over a weekend, and really had to force myself to stick with it to the end.

Don't know if I mentioned it yet but we started up watching  the new season of Orphan Black on Saturday and the new season (on netflix at least) of Archer). We will probably alternate which we watch with dinner depending on how much time we have to eat as OB is definitely lengthy and serious but Archer is nice, quick, and funny (although I'm not sure I'm sold on this "new" season yet....)

****************WARNING: VAGUE OITNB SPOILER BELOW**************

Omg, I just finished 10 last night and was JUST thinking this. I like the backstory of the last couple eps, that was the bit I always really loved, but I literally had to stop in the middle of 9, I think it was, because it was FREAKING ME OUT! I hate scary stuff and OITNB is not supposed to be scary!

EDIT: also almost the whole episode was subtitled which was kind of cool, but kind of annoying as I like to watch, but also multi-task!

Netflix has just put SO many new things up today (or, I only noticed today anyways). It's like it knows me so well....... "Vegas Strip", "Las Vegas Lockup", and "Vegas Jail" were some of the amazingggg reality trash shows they've put up. If you want a good laugh at absolutely mental people, watch "Vegas Strip". THere's a guy claiming he was a t-rex in a pas life and that he was pregnant. That male t-rex's carry the baby and he was impregnated by smoking tobacco. He was totalllllyyyy normal while sharing his story too - not like a druggy or super drunk person. It's given me some amazing laughs tonight. Literally laughing out loud at some of this stuff!

Oooooh! I will check! I know my sisters said they just put up a bunch of stuff on US Netflix (like Moana) so they must have done a systemwide update?

My Netflix thinks I'm in the US and tells me all about shows I can't watch! Haha. It's funny but it's sad too.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

That's literally the most painful thing! hahah Luckily we have a VPN that we pay for (was very reasonably priced) on our PC which is hooked up to our TV in our lounge so I can, if I want to, access US Netflix still (even though they tried to crackdown on that).

Seriously though guys, Vegas Strip. Watch it. There was a scouser who appeared on there in an episode and it was the funniest thing because he was belligerent but SO apologetic - especially compared to the drunk Americans who were resisting arrest! The English are just SO polite, even when being drunkenly arrested! hahaha I'll try to find the club. Husband and I were p*ssing ourselves in bed watching it!

Wow, the drunken British being polite must be something they save for that show!  (Can you tell I work evenings and walk home past bars?)

Netflix also just put up the latest series of Jane the Virgin, which I was watching when I moved here.  Almost every episode ends on a cliffhanger so I'm really glad they're continuing to update it.  Hopefully Brooklyn 99 will update soon too.

There are a lot of my American shows here that are just a few months behind, like on channel 4, but I can't find anywhere that shows Modern Family.  If anyone watches it legally I'd love to know where to find it.

Modern Family is shown on Sky 1, which I think you can get through Now TV if you don't have satellite/cable.

haha yeah they don't behave that way here for sure! But I think they are probably terrified about what they hear of police and prison there. This dude was a LEGEND though at the end haha

I watched all of season 2 of Jane a few months ago. I wouldn't even say I love the show but for some reason I can't stop watching it hahaha I reserved it as one of the shows I watch when my husband is out for the night. Now that it's been completed, it's been replaced with the Handmaid's Tale.

Oh, thanks so much! We are actually considering Now TV but I didn't see it on their list of shows.  That's amazing, we're definitely going to get it now  ;D

I literally just rewatched all 4 seasons of the original IT Crowd because I saw All 4 had IT Crowd 2013 on there. Ok, ok, it was only 24 episodes, but still...

Today, I finished season 4 and went to start the 2013 season, and they only have the FIRST EPISODE!!! DAMN THEM!
