Priority Spouse Visa FALL Timeline (Oct-Dec)

Hi everybody,

Been reading this forum for a while whilst we prepared out application but finally took the plunge and joined.

My wife is Canadian but lives in LA and I'm in Oxford.

Can we be added to the tracker if possible?

Sorry but how do you apply priority from the USA?

Details if needed: Spousal visa with cash savings. Planning to apply in Jan and wanted priority but not sure how.

It costs $771 on top of the visa application fee, IHS and shipping.

Long time lurker finally filed my for my spouse visa now I’m able to post!

Here’s my timeline
Applied from : Miami, U.S.A
Priority : Yes
Biometrics given date : Sept 28th 2017
Documents mailed to UK : Oct 6th 2017
Documents received by Sheffield on : Oct 9th 2017

So now time for the agony waiting game. It’s been 3 weeks and I’m checking my ups tracking every single day.

I’m hoping the priority was worth it.

Good luck to everyone waiting in October.

Fingers crossed we will all make it to the other side soon! ♥️

@Miami2UK has been added to the tracker. Welcome! It's not giving me warm fuzzies that none of our Oct 9 people have heard a decision. That's already longer than the September average. Grrr.

I also got an email from Sheffield today that they'd received an older application for which I'd requested a refund and never sent in documentation (got bad advice from VFS). So, that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence...
