@Miami2UK has been added to the tracker. Welcome! It's not giving me warm fuzzies that none of our Oct 9 people have heard a decision. That's already longer than the September average. Grrr.

I also got an email from Sheffield today that they'd received an older application for which I'd requested a refund and never sent in documentation (got bad advice from VFS). So, that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence...

I was actually thinking about that the other day. Besides the really early October applications that took 2-5 days   :o no one from October has had any updates.  *sigh

I foolishly let those early October ones get my hopes up. I'm glad I resisted the strong urge to buy a plane ticket!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who is discouraged by the sudden halt in movement.. I told me vendors that I hoped to have my decision in 1-2 weeks since everything was moving quickly... now we only have 2 dates left for the venue we want in February  :-\\\\ Unfortunately the deposit to reserve our date is £3500 and I'm not willing to risk that much more money with the FLR expenses right around the corner. Hopefully we will see some movement by the end of the week! Can't even imagine how @rdoherty15  and @fingersXd were/are feeling!!

I thought the same thing! I noticed the decision emails slowed.
Hopefully we hear something soon. I told my job I was leaving in November. Fingers crossed we hear something soon!!

The job thing has been frustrating for me as well. I haven't lived in the US for two years (lived abroad wi my husband) so coming back and having to get a job was challenging since I knew I was planning on moving to the UK. Hard to accept a long-term job when you're planning on moving in a few months. I ended up taking a three-month temp contract and now its over and I'm just waiting everyday so I can plan the rest of my life - __-

Their timelines are in the other Priority thread. One person got a decision in two days and the other in five I believe.

Likewise.  I hope to be submitting my application this weekend or early next week, and once the backlog cleared last month I started getting the feeling that my application decision would come quickly - now that I'm getting closer to actually submitting it, I'm not so sure anymore.  I hope it's just me being silly :)

As long as I have my wife in my arms on Christmas morning, I'll be over the moon.  That's been our goal from the outset of the year, so hopefully it happens!

Can someone help me assess my already sent Priority application. Reading all of your previous stories, I was just thinking, If my application could be straightforward.. I mean what are the chances??

My Husband and I first met in Abu Dhabi, UAE in the year 2013.
I visited London twice to see him, in the year 2014.
I moved to the USA for my further education. During that period, my then lover , now husband, visited me twice in the US..
My husband who is a British Citizen, moved to the US, on H1B , in  August 2016..
He also owns a co. company in the UK, So therefore he is running the company in the UK, by doing the Dividend Vouchers.
He continued to work in the US since August 2016, and we got married in Dec 2016.
We moved in together in the US and lived together until June 2017.
But, we decided to move back to the UK permanently cos my husband bought a house, and he has his extended family and all in the UK. Therefore, I asked him to move first and then I will join him soon, once i get my Visa approved.
My husband is managing to work with the Company in the USA remotely, and also has a 9 to 5 Job in the UK working as an IT lead in Sainsburys. He visited me once last week from the UK.

About me : I am a Masters Student, originally from India, but here in the US only for education. Currently, I am done with my Masters. I also got 2 offers , which i did not accept because I will be moving to the UK Anyway.

Yes, the email from UKVI should be next and after that the decision made email. Hopefully not too long between the two!  :)

Fingers crossed, got excited by the early October quick decisions but reality sinks in as the other fall applications appear to be taking longer.

Wishing everyone a speedy response.
