Then the answer is obvious....please leave the damn foil on!!! At least wait until it's well over 10C out. Although, out of curiosity....do you think there was any effect on the rain as well? ;D

That was the "washing my windows" bit. It is beautiful out today. Have had the windows open for a bit to air the house. Started to take the foil down but then thought about it and left it up....  ;)

The old saying 'ne'er cast a cloot till May is oot'... pretty sure that applies to foil as well!  ;)

Nan, I’m sure we will all happily send you a roll of foil if needed.  Just let us know!

I've got the same thing going as you Nan, but I wear the tin foil on my head like a hat.  It totally changes the weather.

So, do you find you need the "heavy duty" foil, or does the thin "recycled" foil work for you?

I hope we have this kind of weather at the weekend.  Spending the weekend on a working farm.... can't say I've ever done that before!

Is it at least slightly warm rain? When I say warm, I mean no extra wind coming along to chill you to your bones, not actual summer warmth haha

Weather Underground says it's to be 48F in Glasgow all week, with rain.

One can hope.

I did take the bubble-wrap off the window in our front loo, so hopefully that won't jinx it!

The sunny walk today is the only thing that made up for missing the bus/train I needed. No jinxies :)

Honestly it's so mild out right now. Just about to go take the dog out for a walk and I'm loving it! I'm hoping it stays this way as I hear we're meant to get more snow over Easter...
