Since we are waiting on one more document (bank account statements from his bank) I'm going through everything to make sure we have no more setbacks and I can send it in as soon as we get those documents. I created a "table of contents" I will put in it this order, let me know if I should switch it around. I'm planning on putting each section in a different folder or let me know if I should do something else. If I am missing something, let me know! Thank you!!
Do not use any folders or anything like that. It only makes Sheffield's job harder. Just place everything in order and gather into one pile. You can use paperclips or string/elastic bands for each section if you like.
Just going to rearrange your documents slightly into the order they need to be presented:
Admin Documents
- Priority receipt (if purchasing
- Return shipping label
- cover/contents letter
- online application
- Appendix 2
- stamped biometrics receipt
- receipt for IHS surcharge
- current passport
- previous passports
- passport photo
Sponsor Documents
- copy of sponsor's passport photo page
- letter of support for the visa
Financial Documents
- payslips (6 full months if using Cat A)
- bank statements (6 full months if using Cat A)
- letter from employer
Optional but recommended:
- Employment Contract
- P60
Accommodation Documents
- Tenancy Contract
- Letter from Landlord
Relationship Documents
- marriage certificate
- 1 or 2 photos of you together
- boarding passes/e-tickets from flights
- letters/cards
- no more than 2-3 pages of Facetime/ Video Calls
- no more than 2-3 pages of Facebook Messages
- no more than 2-3 pages of iMessage/Texts
- no more than 2-3 pages of Whats app texts
- no more than 2-3 pages of Whats app calls
