Would that be chocolate chip or oatmeal?

Ha ha ha!! Exactly! And then I was trying to explain to my husband what an American biscuit is like and he basically deduced that it’s a scone. Okay, it’s a scone.  [smiley=shifty.gif]

But he insisted. I just let him have his way. I tried to explain that you don’t eat these biscuits with clotted cream... but hey, my age and wisdom teaches me to choose my battles!

Sadly, Target no longer ships to the UK. I shall cry a thousand tears.

Cheese grits. Biscuits and gravy. Not fair, you're making me drool on my desk.

I make killer pancakes, but my husband insists on eating them at room temperature with butter* and jam (the Scottish way). His loss. Hot with maple syrup and butter (with bacon for dipping  ;))  is my preferred way.  Though I like the Scottish way too.

But he will never, ever, ever let me cook breakfast for dinner.  Being all Pioneer Woman here, but breakfast for dinner is pure, unbridled, orgasmic joy, better than sex.... HA :P

Still? That sucks.   >:(

Have you ever tried one of those parcel forwarding companies, that provide you with a US address then send on to you in the UK? I used one once and it went ok.

I introduced my husband to pancakes and French toast so we have some pretty awesome breakfasts. I miss sushi more than anything where I am now, and bubble tea, and mochi.

Honestly, I'm lucky... my husband is happy to eat whatever I cook. So we don't have a fight there. I've yet to make him my french toast but he loves my pancakes so much he wants us to open a pancake cafe! LOL!

Oh, yeah, sushi... damn. Can you even get a California roll or a dragon roll anywhere?? Because that's one thing I know I won't be able to replicate at home - sushi.

It depends on where you live. Where I am, takeaway in general is a let down in every way and the closest sushi restaurants are too much of a drive for mediocre food. There are some excellent restaurants, just not sushi ones. I miss having Pho 10 minutes away too.

My kids come over pretty regularly plus I go home a couple of times a year. Between all the travelling we do, I'm pretty well set up even without Target.

My ex husband may be travelling to Europe this fall so I may have him post me some stuff from an EU country to save on the shipping.  Lol

I can get sushi, mochi and bubble tea in my small Scottish town. I just can't get good Mexican.
