I wonder if it falls under the sugar tax since it's not full of wierd sweeteners?

Has anyone else noticed that after the sugar tax, every single drink is full of artificial sweeteners?  Most of the time they don't even put it on the label, only the ingredients. Makes everything taste horrible!

Yeah, I've had to throw a couple we used to have as treats down the sink drain. Yuck!

I used to make wine from it.  And yes, it was hidden.  Those were the days!  The joy of just buying a bottle of wine in a supermarket or from an off licence!

Lived in Saudi Arabia 1997 - 2017.

Lived on a compound which had it's own supermarket.  They sold lots of grape juice, and lots of sugar, and lots of yeast.

Many would compare it to living in prison.

My mom would put Kool-Aid in ice cube trays with toothpicks sticking out for homemade popsicles!! Ha ha!! But they were yummy!

I know, right?! The day I see grape jelly here I'll be giddy! LOL!
Butting in lol, not about grape juice , but I stuck a box of Nestle quick in my suitcase... does the chocolate Quick taste the same there.. it a waste of space to bring it. Also stuck a box of Duncan Hines walnut brownie mix, Andy said they don’t have it. Is this true ?! The horror

You'll find Betty Crocker brownie mix in Asda, but I don't think I've ever seen Duncan Hines.
Not sure about the Qwick here, but wanted to ask is there a sugar free version in the US?

I’ve got some Nesquik chocolate powder here and it tastes just like in America! No fake sweeteners in it. It’s yummy!!

Yeah I was going to say that there *is* Ranch here now (I remember when I first move and it was exceptionally difficult to find Ranch dressing and that was only 5ish years ago), but it doesn't taste the same as Hidden Valley. it does the job though for me.

No Duncan Hines mix that I've seen. There will be a LOT of stuff that you're probably used to getting in your local grocery store that you aren't even thinking about that you won't find here and will wish you had, unfortunately. Even just with box mixes in the baking section. We have box mixes, but it won't be everything you're used to seeing and buying.

My, how time flies....
