So, have they decided anything yet? I haven't had the nerve to turn the telly on.

I’m watching in the Falklands on Sky News - they’ve voted, but apparently the results won’t be in until 10:30pm.

I bit the bullet and turned on the news... All four options were defeated.

It is all such a waste of time!  It gets worse and worse!

Married 1966, left UK 1969, returned 1998, left again 2000, returned June 2014 (husband on spousal visa) granted FLR(M) November 30th 2016  and ILR on  24th May, 2019. Yeah!

Clearly the country is divided. The Government is divided. The legislature is divided.

The sensible thing is to call it off and have a long dialogue.

Exactly. And address the economic issues that led to it vs driving us off a cliff. It can be revisited if there is ever a consensus on what "Brexit" means. Imagine if we'd invested all the money spent on negotiations & preparations in the last year on mental health help for teenagers across the country and school funding?

Ok, so now She's asking for June. Some EU types are saying it should be a full year.

What. Ever.  ::)

No longer worried about it. Have life to get on with. Will deal with whatever it turns out to be when they sort it out or it crashes.  If it goes badly, and impacts us badly enough, we'll leave for France or Portugal, potentially Ireland. Vermont, if we have to. If not, we stay put and deal with it. Life's been "on hold" for two years, and that's all I'm wasting on being "on hold."
