House DIY
« on: March 27, 2019, 03:37:28 PM »
Will post my photos later but thought it might be nice to have a thread specific to sharing any house renovations or DIY work you might do (I know there are a few gardeners, so sharing before/afters of a garden totally counts as well!)

Think, depending on what house we settle for next and the garage situation, I may or may not push eventually for an electric garage!

I can't wait.  Back when the original owners built the house (in the 90's) they sealed off the garage door and drywalled and carpeted the room.  So after 3.5 years of living in this house, we will FINALLY have a functioning garage!

My car is going in the garage.  My husband insists that he is not putting his car in the garage as he thinks a garage  is for storage.  So he's going to have his very expensive BMW on the drive while his CD's are safely housed in the garage.  He's soooooo weird.  I wonder if he will change his mind when he realises my car stays clean for longer....

I just never get this! Why make it a garage at all!? Why not put a shed or something else if you just want to store items, WHY A GARAGE?! Such a common thought though! Luckily, because Rik is a car guy, he is not against using the garage as a proper place to park your car....but annoyingly, the downside is that HE wants to be able to use it, not me! haha
