My microwave clock is dead easy to set, but it's still on the old time.  My husband isn't coming in to see the clock in the morning as he gets ready for work, so the time it's set to is irrelevant.

Ahh, while you're in the future, can you check on Yellowstone?  If our current trend of world-altering events continues, that's surely the next to go!

I think Bill Bryson wrote a chapter about Yellowstone in his book about science, it was really scary.
By the way Aquila, if you PM your address I'll send over a copy of Bill Bryson's newest book about the body.  It's really good.

The lightest of grey!  (We had sun yesterday... it was pretty.  Briskly chilly, but pretty.)

Absolutely gorgeous day!  Just the right temperature, light breeze, beautiful sunshine... and so quiet!   :)

There's a quarry not far from where we live, and normally, we hear the quarry lorries going past our house througout the day.  We haven't heard one in a couple of weeks about a week?  How long have we been in lockdown?  I've lost all concept of time!

They are surprisingly not as loud as the previous owner warned us about when we were buying the house, but it's still nice to not have them going past.

A few days after I got my poly greenhouse, the wind is picking up today... My husband assembled the greenhouse on a concrete patio and put some blocks/bricks on the flaps at the bottom to hold it down.  Hopefully, that's at least as good as the spikes that came with it that would have tethered it to the earth if I placed it over mud/grass.  I would hate for my greenhouse to blow away in the first week!

Can you throw some fleece over the branches you can reach maybe?
