Yes, exactly - today, for example, I went to the gym, then went to the USAF base for 'American brunch', then to the pool for swimming and sunbathing. Dinner is in an hour, then champagne with some of the girls for Mother's Day and finally the cinema to see Bombshell tonight!

Definitely in the right place then!  :)

Stay well!

Except those aren't actually farmers markets, at least in Bracknell. They order produce from the same central distribution as everyone else and sell it there, and mainly its just takeaway food without a local focus on ingredients. I really hope supporting things from the area becomes a more common thing! I haven't made it to the Wokingham market because I keep hurting my legs and they closed the parking near it for a bit, thankfully the council has sorted that for now.

When i've gone to bracknell's it's been a butchers selling meat and a fruit and veg stall selling fruit and veg but, fairly, i have no idea where the fruit and veg stand gets their stock from nor where the butchers is getting their meat (never questioned it if I'm honest).

Wokingham, i think, has less available than Bracknell's in terms of meat (but have more food stands of premade food)

Wokingham has a butcher next to Country Cleaners, kind of across from the Giggling Squid.

Greys Farm is closer to you guys but Ashridge Farm in Binfield is also fab.  You do not have to pick your own at Greys, their shop has already picked stuff.

No, that's not an option - the ship goes halfway around the world... it would take months to get home!

I just have to wait for a flight to come in... hopefully they will have the flight service set up again in the next few days/couple of weeks.

Ksand, WHERE are you again??

Yep, I’m on Ascension Island:

And I really don’t want to go back to the UK any time soon!

All weekend I've been expecting a text from my employers, telling me not to turn up on Monday.
Nothing's come.  :-\\\\

I legit just got the email that our office would be closed for all non-essential employees and the rest of us are to work from home. Literally only people who are incapable of working from home (EG NOC and Warehouse workers) need to go in and sit 2m apart minimum.

Can you contact them in the morning and ask if you can't work from home? It is the government guidance so it seems like they should be doing a better job of protecting their employees.

I've just signed up with a local dairy for milk (and eggs if they have them) deliveries three days a week. Super excited.

I am classed as a 'key worker' (???? can't see it myself unless they change my job role to help with a new covid-related project, which is a possibility) and while I can do quite a bit of my work from home, I can't do it all. We are getting mixed messages at the moment about having to go in, but either way, working from home or going in, I have to have childcare for the one year old. She's very well behaved and pretty content to play on the floor by herself, but not all day. Feeling very very very guilty that I have to keep sending her to nursery (as our in-laws have some serious health conditions and are isolating)...

Considering driving to the city centre instead of taking the train.

DH has been the breadwinner for the past couple of years, but his job is looking a lot less stable than it once did. So he feels like he has to keep going in (unless he gets sick). Unless we're on lockdown, in which case he can look after the small one! But I'd still probably have to work... These are uncertain times!

16/12/15: SET (LR) successful! - It's been a long road...
12/05/16: Citizenship ceremony!

Well, the good news is today I got my invitation to book a citizenship ceremony ...the bad news it they're not booking any ceremonies for an indeterminate time period.  So.  My husband and I are both freelancers, but are semi-retired and have some savings so we're ok in the medium term. But our retirement funds are already decimated. We can't get any deliveries anymore and are trying to limit trips to the store to once a week. And there's not much to buy when you go.We've been wanting to move out of London for a while now, but were waiting till I got my citizenship. Now all plans on hold till who knows when. But I hate being in London right now. We'll be ok, just prioritizing staying healthy and sane right now- easier said than done. Worried about family in the states. Worried about everything tbh.

The home office cruelty continues among the crisis: https://t.co/2kPLJswXZL (80 year old Ukrainian woman told to return home because her visa is expiring, even though there's a travel ban.)
