I am doing sweet ones for breakfast and savoury ones for dinner here... off to buy some lemon curd.... will likely pay an arm and a leg for it but it's easier than making it!  Oh how a miss ginger curd too!

My sister and I took advantage of that little deal a couple of years back...then I went to the health department for my annual exam.  I did all the prelims (height, weight, pee-in-a-cup, bloods) then went out to wait for my exam.  Ten minutes later the nurse called me in freaking out about how according to my samples, I should be dead of diabetic shock or something...I said, I'm not diabetic but I did come straight here from IHOP!! :P

DH and I slept all day (he's on nights and I'm still sick) so we're postponing pancake day until tomorrow.  Now I've got to figure out what to eat tonight!

I will be having Pancakes on Thursday after my Dietitian apt in the morning. Dh doesn't like American style pancakes all that much he will eat them if there isn't anything else to eat.

One of my colleagues brought in a huge basket of 80 (!!) home-made Scotch pancakes this morning.  She brought butter and jam, and put a donation cup next to them on the table.  We all had a good feed and made a bit of money for our department's designated charity.
