I still have no results.  I think this afternoon I may need to go play 'Dude, where's my grades' with the Uni.  :(

When DS got back from UK, he discovered he had lost his wallet.  :o Maybe he left it in Leeds, maybe it fell out of his pocket or was lifted somewhere en route -- who knows?  Fortunately no money and only 4 cards. He phoned the bank to check on those 2 cards and they said there had been no unusual activity. He requested a replacement MA driver's license on line (you can print out their acknowledgment and drive with that evidently). The 4th card was his health insurance card so he has to stay healthy for awhile.

I just bought 6 sheets of plexiglass to fit over our existing, big, single-pane OMG HEAT LOSS windows. And they came to £380.  :\\\'( I was expecting to spend may 100 quid, but I still think we'll save their cost in heating bills since we're not renovating that room for another 3-4 years at least. But ouch. Just before Christmas, too...

That my fiance and I had to go to four different grocery stores to find popcorn! We considered buying popcorn from the cinema and just walking out with it.

The snow.

I couldn't go out with my friends after graduation last night because all the trains were screwed up and it took nearly 3 hours to get home when it should only take 20-25 minutes.

Also, I don't live in town anymore, but my parents are staying in town so I have to worry about whether or not I can get home when I go and get dinner with them every night which sucks because I would like to be able to just enjoy it and maybe get a drink after.

Why couldn't it have waited until next week?!

ETA: And one of my uni friends had to miss our graduation yesterday because she couldn't get here from where she lives because of the stupid snow.  We were all gutted.  What a crappy thing for a day that should be fun and happy, and after all the hard work she did this year.  >:(

As this getting to be a rather big thread, I have locked it so that our servers run faster (and less of an IA  ;))
But don't worry, you can still whinge away on the new Inconvenient Annoyances Thread
