Noirem, good thinking.  But I'm still wondering how they'll get around
Spoiler: show
the fact that a 200 year older eleventh doctor clearly died in the first episode.

That's not really a spoiler but I wanted to use the button  ;D.

AH!!  Of course!  Brilliant!  Seriously, I am the easiest audience in the world because I never see anything coming.

Since the series has started up again, I figured I'd restart the thread:

My new theory is that
Spoiler: show
when Melody/River gave the Doctor the rest of her regenerations that she didn't just "spend" them on saving his life, but "gifted" them to him and that's how they'll get around the "time lords regenerate 13 times" thing.
If that makes sense.

This is a good theory.

I think the big question isn't necessarily
Spoiler: show
which Doctor died, but who killed him! I'd like to think that River is too obvious of a choice (but I thought it was too obvious that she was Amy and Rory's daughter too). My money is on the Doctor himself killing himself. Or maybe we'll see his daughter again (unlikely). I'd really like that helmet to open and Jack is inside or something.
In 900 years of time and space, I've never met anyone who wasn't important.
