You missed out, ksand24! It was an odd little storm as far as the places that got LOTS of snow & the ones that didn't...
Like Dumfries & Galloway were hit hard - the rest of Scotland, not so much, I don't think. I think maybe eastern Scotland got some, but not so much where PB is (North Pole!) or in northwestern Scotland.
Much of Cumbria got it - where cars were buried in it, but a friend in Carlisle said they had none or almost no snow.
We were hammered here in Leeds & West Yorkshire, but our friends in York only 27 miles or so to the northeast hardly had any.
Seemed to be a central-west thing, but I'm not sure how far south the heavy snow continued...
It's been 75 degrees (but mostly cloudy and muggy) here in China all week 
75 degrees (or even warmer/hotter!!) and muggy - now that's MY kind of weather, my favourite kind!
