The 2012-2013 UK Snow Report Thread
« on: October 16, 2012, 10:30:18 PM »
Oh well, I figure we're not far off, so I will start it again, afterall it snowed the other day at my friends house up on the Dava Moor!

Windscreen scraping has already commenced this year and its been a bit frosty in the mornings, but the temperatures dropped quick tonight and I had to scrape my windscreen after 2.5 hours of band practice.

Hitting -1, -2C  tonight -bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Winter!!!!!  Already!!!!  Really, I feel like I never got warm at all in 2012!!!  :-\\\\

<claps hands over ears>  La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la!

My brother rang us last night for DH's birthday, and 'warned' us we might want to bring a jacket/coat for our upcoming US trip - after all, it's getting down to the 60s there just now.  ::)

Oh PB, I think you may have heard this one before...  :P

Hehehehheeh...
Ahh, but when you lived in Tampa and it would get down into the 60s in January, you'd pull out all your thick jumpers and coats, because it felt COLD!!  I remember when it was 50ºF, everyone was complaining it was the end of the world!  :P

Yes, I used to think it was the end of the world when it got down to 50F!  And I never even put on a jacket there until it was below 70F -- I didn't have *any* winter clothes when DH & I started dating.  :P

We've had a couple frosty mornings, a couple weeks ago, in Indiana. For the past few days we have been back in the 80's, but tomorrow will have a high of 53, and be back in the 50's for the next couple weeks. Not a flurry in sight though. Sigh.  ::)

You know me and snow...

We apparently have 'Frankenstorm'  (I can't even  ::) ) on the way. They're not really sure what's going to happen, but there's a slight chance of some snow making an appearance, at least in the higher up places.  :-\\\\

What is up with this Frankenstorm?  It has my mom in near hysterics as hubby and I are flying into Phila and then Ft. Lauderdale on the 31st.
