maybe slightly different. It's possible to use moxie in an admiring way, but chutzpah is never used positively; it's always in the form of complaint.

Another thing I've gotten Jon into is the Yankee slang. He doesn't say cinema now, it's movies and stuff like that.

Nowadays I don't even notice he does it, it's that often.

Okay.  I am trying very hard to think of any occasion when my husband has said basil(either pronounciation).     And I think that it's safe to say that would never happen.
