Omg my package has shipped and will be here Wednesday.  I work 10 hrs that day but it's going to my aunts so she'll be there all day.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I lost faith for a bit but now it's happening so fast!

I got my visa!! It came this afternoon! I'm over the moon but I've only got until the 24th! Frantically searching for flights and breaking it to my family that I can't stay for thanksgiving like we assumed.

Woohoo AirAdele!!! Congratulations my friend. So ecstatic for you. At long bloody last!! Good luck with the mad rush. They sure haven't made it easy for you! ;D ;D ;D

Erine, great news on yours too!

All the very best to you both. Just in time for Christmas although I realise it will be bitter sweet since some of your family are in the States.

Picked up my BRP and went through immigration without issues on Monday.  The Immigration Officer I had was actually really nice to us and welcomed me into the UK with a smile. Has restored my faith a little in this bureaucratic world we live in.

Thank you phu.  It's been such a long time coming.  I'm so relived and feel like a weight has been lifted and love that our lives are finally moving forward!
