This was so nice to read.  It’s such a strange, unexpected bend in the road, and you made it with grace and courage.  Peace and love to you and your family.

Such wonderful news and I am so glad you had private healthcare to rush you into treatment as quickly as possible! They have made incredible advances in treating cancer.

Do you know how long it will be until you have the spine surgery so you're living with less daily pain?

Nothing yet. My oncologist was going to chase. The letter was asking the radiologist to get with the spine surgeon. As they both need to agree this is the correct course and align their diaries to do it. Oncologist was going to find out if they’ve spoken and nudge them along.

I’m coping quite well.  Knowing that it’s temp or pain and no permanent pain is extremely helpful. I hate that so many here have pain that is not temporary. I’m grateful mine can be fixed. I just hope the spinal surgeon doesn’t have to physically exam me again because when he touched a few places - bad words came out of my mouth.

Hah. At least with cancer they believe you when that happens!

she fully expects me to be sitting across from her in 15 years time.  It was a good day.  It’s a very good day.

This is the best news I've had in a while!  I'm really happy.

Had an ultrasound of my breast this week now that chemo has been completed.

In September, the main tumour in the breast measured 24mm x 17mm, with a 15mm mass on the auxiliary tail, and 3 nodules.

This week the main tumour measured 11mm x 6mm, I didn't get the measurement on the auxiliary tail though know it's smaller, and NO nodules were found.

You guys know I like my numbers.  As the breast is the only area I have measurements for, it's the only one I can really understand.  I have my CT/PET scan on Tuesday and will get the results on Thursday.  I'm hopeful that all the tumours have responded as well as the breast!

I hope that the injections will continue to shrink all these tumours and that my body continues to respond (I hope it responds forever!) and that I'll just live with cancer!  It is really nice having some good news!

Spine Surgeon and Radiologist are figuring out when to do my spine surgery/procedure.  It could be as early as Wednesday!!

Very very good news! I truly hope this progress continues. It's amazing the advances they've made with cancer treatments, I'm so glad they're on top of it and it's improving.
