Fish and chips from the chipper!

Here too!  :)
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Balsamic chicken and shallots in the slow cooker, with mashed potatoes and sauteed asparagus. Apple pie for dessert!  :)

Chorizo & bean soup. Whilst its way too warm for it, it's what I had on hand in the cupboards.

I could eat soup everyday no matter how hot it is outside!

We had gnocchi and tomato sauce (half Lloyd's half my very veggie) with steamed broccoli.

I think soup is such a perfect food.  Filling. Comforting. Tasty. Warming.  Its probably my favourite food, all flavours are good!  :)

Yeah!

I made my spicy Caribbean vegetable and bean soup today for tomorrow night's dinner.  We may have it with quinoa.

I made a seriously lovely Chorizo and Pea risotto because I've been craving one ever since Jewlz started that blasted risotto thread!

And I pan roasted some cod dredged in smoked paprika and a little seasoned flour to sit on top.

All in all, was lovely, especially the risotto, I've forgotten how great they are :D

That sounds tasty.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Our freezer is virtually empty, so more quorn escalopes and Cauldron sausages (though I don't like the 'new & improved flavour').

Don't know if I even noticed the change in flavor, we do them maybe once a week.

Eggs, oven chips, baked beans, and spinach. Another cabinet meal.  Tasty and quick.
