J's making it- I found chorizo in my meager freezer and some tinned tomatoes- he's adding some tomato paste, garlic, chili flakes, some fresh basil from my windowsill and cooking some pasta- it smells so good
And he bought over a bottle of red wine. Good boy  ;D

A feast from nothing!  Good boy!

I had pizza and steamed veggies* and hubby had pasta with some kind of mushroom and pesto sauce he made up.

*What I thought were sugar snap peas (which I love) turned out to be just peas in the pod.  Couldn't eat the pods obviously, but the peas were tasty enough.

DH's homemade pizza night!  Pizza night!

But, sadly, no more Dr Who, for now.  Hmm - will have to see if there's anything at all interesting on tele now, or else watch a movie.  :)

Hubby's making Sunday roast (beef), and...AND!!!!  Homemade ice cream (strawberry, or strawberry/raspberry, I think!) in the ice cream maker that he got me for my birthday.  (I'm spoilt.)

I'm also hungry!

Grilled my first steak on the grill...YUM (made two 1 Mexican spice for quesadillas tomorrow and one cajun for tonight) and baked sweet potatoe slices with cumin/garlic/salt/pepper and broccoli...

Sometimes I just love to cook simple and getting a grill was the best thing I EVER bought here

ohh and I want homemade ice cream!

Had a big bbq, chicken yakitori, steaks, burgers, sausages and really good ribs (I'm well chuffed), potato salad, lemon and pea salad, leaves and roasted veg quinoa :)

I also made dark chocolate, cherry ice-cream which was lush! My most successful yet :D

Yay for homemade ice-cream!
