I had a big lunch, so I might just have a lite meal.  Maybe a salad today.

'Posh' bangers & mash :P  (garlicky cheesey mash, 'Toulouse' style bangers (grilled), roasted Spanish veg over all) -- this has become one of hubby's favorites...also, a basic Rioja.

Oh well done on the half marathon and that sounds sooooo yummy.  It was Taco night again.   :)

We had those sainsbury's sicilian sausages, chopped up with garlic, onion, black olives, and chillies... sauteed all together in olive oil, with garlic mash.

Went to the pub... roast shoulder of lamb with mash and veg for me, sirloin steak and trimmings for him.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

You all sound like amazing cooks, me not so much...lol. Tonight we had hotdogs and good ol' Kraft mac & cheese  ;) Then again I only have to try and please myself and an eight year old!

Poor Roy was not feeling well last night (had a massive Hay Fever/Asthma attack)...so I made him pumpkin & chili soup, toasted bread with cheese and a salad.  Yummy!

I made pastina last night!  With an egg and butter, with a little chopped up left over roasted chicken.  It was REALLY good!!!
Thanks for the idea, I've never had it before, but will make it again.

Tonight is cricket practice so I'll have whatever they are serving at the club...I think it will most likely be veggie chili and rice...with a beer or two with the gang.
