Kidney beans, cannellini beans, green beans, sweetcorn, red onion and fresh chopped tomato tossed with balsamic vinaigrette and cracked peppercorns and sea salt with fresh coriander.  Served with couscous made with olive oil and veggie stock.  Mmmmm.  Was delicious!  Might snack on it tonight even.

Beef Rendang...

Mmmmmm -- my hubby makes this once in awhile. *Almost* as good as being in Amsterdam. :)

Brown rice with sauteed chicken breast, mushrooms, and a creamy but healthy mushroom sauce that I get from where I work (health food shop)....very, very yummy.  Oh, and strawberries and soya cream for pudding. ;D

Grilled salmon for me and the baby, grilled lamb steaks for him.  We'll all have corn, roasted new potatoes and a garden salad.

Something cool - it's going to be 90F degrees here today!  And it's not even summer.  :P  Won't miss the heat when I move one bit.

Had fantastic gazpacho for lunch - Mmmmm!!!

One of our faves... quiche lorraine, salad, and a selection of continental cheeses. Strawberries for dessert.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Last night we had the leftovers from the chicken I roasted mixed with peppers, onions, mushroom and aubergine- in an olive and tomato sauce served w/ spinach that I once again steamed for too long hehe

Tonight will be a surprise! We're going to some friends for dinner!
