steak, baked potato, caesar salad, French bread..  SO will be here.. have to feed him properly!
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

What in the world?!?!!

Looks like rain today (had been thinking of BBQ)...I've got broccoli so may do a beef & broccoli stir-fry or some such.

Tonight it will be Southwestern Steak Salad.  I make it with shredded greens, chopped smoked chilies, sweet white corn, black beans, Monterey jack cheese, tomatoes, avocados, crushed corn chips, grilled tri-tip and a spicy ranch dressing.   Even DH, who dislikes "rabbit food",  likes it.
"Mind is the Master power that molds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills:
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass,
Environment is but his looking glass."

Last nigt was OMG - fantastic!!  I cooked some whole wheat rotini.  I then roasted a red pepper on the stove top  and sliced it into pieces.  Drizzled the pasta with olive oil, added a spicy chunky tomato sauce, shredded parmesean, the red pepper, a bit of Mrs. Dash, some sea salt and fresh ground pepper.  WOW!!!!  It was like something from a resturant!  So good I had seconds.  Wishing I had some left for lunch today!

Tonight - I will be going to a wedding so I'm at there mercy.  :)
