« on: April 06, 2005, 10:16:07 PM »
The next round of the food swap is currently scheduled for May.  I know that some of us are still waiting for the first round; however hopefully by the time the next shipment is due, we'll all be eating our goodies!

Here's the list of Foodie Friends from February:

Mars Bar
HG
Belindaloo

Kellie
Staceyj7
Pebbles

PeachbytheBeach
Muse

Europein 2005
Maddierose

Saf
Kiin

* Interested in May round

UK
Britwife

Would all current participants kindly indicate if you want to continue in the May round.  There are more folks who have shown interest* so once we know who's in, we can make matches as necessary.

Many thanks!

This is such a fun idea! I am interested in participating in the swap and would love to send out some US goodies. Please let me know here or via email if you are in need of people from the US thank you.

I am going to bow out of the next round to give someone else a chance to participate. I have to admit I was awfully late sending my package out the first time--- sorry Mars Bar!! Intentions are good--- just seems like things have been overly hectic lately.

It's a great idea and hope you all enjoy--- maybe I can join back in another time

I still want to do it but will be moving at the end of the month so may be a little disorganised (ha who am I kidding? We'lll be a LOT disorganised!) in May but if someone doesn't mind getting their goodies a couple of weeks late then I'm still up for it. Well really it's my husband who wants most of the stuff. If there's anyone in California who wants to be my "buddy" that would be perfect, otherwise am sure you can get most of the things we would want pretty much anywhere.

Just to let everyone know I got my parcel today from Kellie and it was so wonderful! Rice a roni tonight with shake n bake chicken :) Thanks Kellie!!!

I would live to take part in next months food swap but the postage cost me over £40 on my last parcel. What did I do wrong? I spoke to a few of you and you only paid about £15 for postage. I sent slow boat just like we agreed. Did I misunderstand something?

I haven't received mine yet either, maddierose (and, as far as I know, marsbar hasn't received her pkg from me). But I don't think it's time to panic yet! Now is about the time we can start expect to be getting them. Shipping takes a while -- patience, patience, patience! ;)
