Bought a Diesel bag on ebay, which arrived this morning... and it's MUCH nicer than it was described in the ebay advert!  Has loads more pockets than described, and is brand new with tags still on, which the guy never mentioned in his advert!

Received my passport back from the DVLA today, thank goodness!  I was driving myself crazy thinking about having to reapply for a passport and ILR! (I know, I'm neurotic.)   ;)

Dropped DH off at the station, which is right across from the canal basin... as i passed by, i could see all the canal boat holidaymakers having their breakfasts on the decks of their boats, and looking like they were happy and having a good time.

Having the three greatest 13 yo girl French students stay with us for three nights.  They brought us so many goodies from France and a crystal candle holder.

These sweet and well mannered kids who are open to new things make being a host family so worth it!

Being so sick and spun last week I forgot this one.... my wedding album that I brought home from SF.  Its absolutely beautiful, my photographer did an amazing job.  I chose most of the pictures, but he added several that are just perfect.  The only bummer is I picked it up a few days before I flew back, so at the request of family/friends I have to bring it with me next visit in November!

My friends little brother's band realeasing their first album, and it's brilliant and doing really well, and the singles are getting loads of air time, and the gigs are all selling out, and I am sooooo pleased for him, cos he's a great lad, a really nice bloke, immensley talented, the rest of the band are nice blokes too, and I get to go around saying "I went to school with the front man from The Feeling", which I like to think gives me some kudos....!

That's awesome that you know them.  From what I've heard from them so far, I think they're very talented.  I was looking for "Fill My Little World" to add it to my myspace page.

Got a raise today!  (Every little bit helps!)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Good one, crabbit! Well done-

My unexpected pleasure is- I'm not a wealthy person, but I have so many things to be thankful for.  Two children who are very healthy and a joy and fascination to watch growing up, a husband who is very caring and understanding (and handsome) and wonderful with the children.  He did not have the greatest example as a father, and yet he is outstanding with them.
I know many people may not understand this or take issue with it, but I have a relationship with God that I find personally very satisfying and enjoyable.  I think that is a real unexpected pleasure.
Truly thankful.
