Went in for my chiro appt this morning and the staff had bought me a sympathy card and a little box of candy. I had been in last week the day after I had found out my friend passed away and was a bit of a wreck. More of an unexpected kindness I guess but still.  :)

A huge hyserical laughing fit with my husband last night. I had made carrot bread earlier in the day, and (it turned out delicious) was telling my husband about how much I love having a proper cooker after not having had one for the first three years or so that I was here. Mind you, in the following sentence I was meant to say 'oven'.

Me : I am just so happy to have an onion again. I absolutely cannot live without one!!
and I blather on about how happy I am, until he sniggers and says,
"onion.....you can't live without one, huh."
Me : What?
Him: You said onion, you can't live without one.
You can see where this is going......now we're totally cracking up, and he says......
"That's a huge demand to meet, an onion....."
Me, laughing and crying at the same time...."you better start saving your pennies, I really need that onion....."
Stupid this, I know, but I'm still laughing, and we shared a giggle over it this morning.

My UP for the day was work being so hectic and crazy with phone calls up the wazoo! Sounds strange I know, but it's been so dull around there it was a welcome change. Wow my day flew by fast!

On my way to work this morning, I saw a little old lady (90's maybe, certainly late 80's) RIDING HER BICYCLE IN TRAFFIC!!!  Way to go granny!  She had a basket on her bike and had obviously been to the shops.  I love that!  Go granny, go granny, go granny go!  (She's the little old lady from (not) pasedena!)

I seen a lil old lady on her motorbike the other day in traffic as well. She had the old granny dress on and everything. I loved it!

Receiving a very nice card with some moola in it from a co-worker very very unexpected.

Calling Continental Airlines and having the most pleasant woman helping me sort out Dillinger's flight details, she def above and beyond the call of duty.

Finally I get to see Roy in 12 days!!!!!  YAY   ;D ;D ;D ;D
