The epidural that I had for my back a few weeks ago was helping a bit until yesterday......we went to a park and the 9 year old needed help.  When will I learn that I can no longer pick her up??

Dislike!  >:( Hope you are ok!

I just had another aspiration when I was expecting the consultant to say things were looking better (they are, but apparently not as well as he was hoping for). At least I got a local this time, but still.... ouch.  :\\\'( No more appointments for a month, though, so he must be thinking this will do the trick. And no more antibiotics, so at least I can have a few drinks without feeling like I'm hindering the healing process. I guess this was kind of an IA / UP. Also, we may find out something about our jobs in the next few days. I hope it's good news since I just turned down that other job.  :-\\\\ I hate waiting to find something out, that's the worst part.  :-\\\\

Jewlz, I wish you all the best...and good vibes to you regarding your job situation.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything turns out okay.

My IA: I'm so over waking up at 4:15am each morning to get to work.   :P

Really struggling on this chapter for my dissertation today.  It's like I've lost all ability to articulate what it is I'm trying to say.  :(

Everything about today (until I got home from work) was an IA.  Didn't sleep well last night, I was too warm & restless, even though it rained - it just felt stickier, then when it started getting cooler, some bin men (the ones that empty for the restaurants & businesses) were slamming bins around at 4:30 am so I had to shut the window.  Already had a headache.  Dozed off a little bit, but then DH had to get up unusually early to be in the office for 6 am to work on a software release.  So I was completely awake from 5 am, a little earlier than normal.  Ran out of time to make myself a lunch before I left, because I waited for him to get all ready & out the door before I started getting ready - so ended up with a rubbish takeaway sandwich (I picked the wrong thing).  The office was boiling hot inside from 7:30 am, like they'd had the heat on overnight or something - wtf?!  And stayed that way all day, so I was sweaty & tired & droopy all day.  New phone system so we were all a little freaked out & then they came around & told us not to use it the way that they trained us on it last week, just one freaking thing after another.  Then the plan at work for the day changed midstream about 10:30 am so got switched from one thing to another unexpectedly, lots of interruptions, blah blah blah.  Then some lady on the bus home was all but shouting (most annoyingly) into her phone.  [smiley=bomb.gif]  When I just wanted to chill out & have some peace & quiet.

It certainly wasn't my most horrible day ever at work - there have been countless truly horrible days, too many to recount.  Just one long IA today.

Oh no! I really hope he is able to see a doctor soon and get the help he needs.  :-\\\\ Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks. He's still got the appointment on Thurs. and the office people sound helpful and sympathetic so will try to wangle the insurance coverage for him.
Sorry you had to go through the "wringer" again but sounds like they expect it to continue to improve. Good luck!

My Dr's office called the house today to say they needed to changed my Dietitans apt from Sept 1st to another day & to the dietitans that I don't like. so I asked if I could have the dietitian I liked an asked when was she available which is this Fri the 20th at 9:50am or not for another 4 weeks so I took this Friday instead. normally it wouldn't be that bad of problem but I have had Aunt Flow in this week so I couldn't go to the gym & its 2 weeks sooner than my last apt I had with her I just hope I lose some weight!! I just don't feel comfortable with the other Dietitian or else I would have stuck with my original apt.

DS having dreadful time trying to find a doctor who will take MassHealth insurance (he's unemployed) and take new patients. One doc. who does take the Mass insurance has added a new partner so the office told him to wait until he started. He checked back and made an appt. for Thursday but has since been told that new guy is not on the Masshealth list! So sounds like they've cancelled!! I'm worried he's going to have a nervous breakdown by the time he finds a doctor. This is getting to be a "Worse than ..."

Is he under 26?  If he is, after the end of September, he can go back on your work plan (for free, most likely) under Obamacare.

I just can't eat enough today. And I've been really good and listening to my body signals and not boredom signals and this is truly hunger today.  And I get full after I eat something but 1 hour later its like proper hunger.  Its annoying. I know I should be good and be happy I'm listening to my body proper like a normal human being instead of a crazy/boredom/sress eater like I usually am, but I've eaten well over what I should have today.  :-\\\\

Nope, nearly 30. Seems so unfair that if someone (adult child, parent, sibling, whatever) is living with you and largely dependent on you, you can't include them on your work insurance (especially if you don't have a spouse on it) An adult child is probably going to make less demands on the insurance than a young child anyway.
