I've been waiting all evening for my grocery delivery to arrive, only to discover that my booking slot "expired" yesterday when I was placing the order. Now I get to wait tomorrow evening as well. (On the plus side, at least I'm not desperate for any of the items being delivered.)

My ticker was taken without anyone telling me why it was taken down it was on here yesterday night it wasn't huge I thought it was quite small compared to of the tickers on here. I know its petty but it annoyed me that I wasn't told why it was taken down.  >:(  :P

Shugga, the mods know you posted about this but I don't know if there is an answer yet. Leah is actually out of town so it's a bit of a mystery for the moment. Someone will reply to your post about it as soon as possible.

Thanks for you response Balmerhon but since posting about my ticker a couple days ago it has since returned I saw it on my profile page this morning.  ;)  :)

After spending all day at the hospital with my mom I had one lousy drink with a friend and then came home and sat and chatted in the back garden with her.  My iPhone doesn't work here due to the English sim but I had it in my back pocket just in case D had an emergency or something.  It fell out of my pocket onto the lounge chair in the garden and then for the first time in months it rained here.   :-X It looks to be ok, but I'm thinking it may die at a later date due to water damage. Cause I need more bulls**t at this point!  >:(

drowning in dust and cat fur because I'm lousy at keeping up with the house cleaning in rooms I don't use much... so when I do get around to it, I pay for it. :P
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Feeling all flu-ey all of a sudden. ugh. Right at the beginning of the work-week. Even worse when you make your living singing with children all day. :(
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

My neck and shoulder, still aching!  Was a crick, now just sore, very sore.  Keep putting my hot bean-bag thing on it and while that feels good, it's not making it go away.   [smiley=smash.gif]

DH is increasingly unhappy at work...and it's overflowing to homelife. He was so gruff this morning when he was leaving at 5.45 that DD who woke up to say goodbye to Daddy was in tears because Daddy 'was cross'. I know your miserable, I know that you're anxious to leave, I know you would rather be in the US but THERE'S NOT A DAMN THING I CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!! AT LEAST TRY TO PUT ON A HAPPY FACE FOR YOUR 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER SO SHE'S NOT IN TEARS FOR 30 MINUTES AFTER YOU LEAVE FFS!

Sorry, I had to get that out  :-[

Sorry to hear that.  I'm so not a morning person and I have a helluva time being happy in the morning.  Sorry you had to deal with a grouchy morning.

This is my IA, too. I turned my head Thursday morning and it went !"*%&" and it's been somewhere between annoying and excruciating since and instead of doing stuff (laundry, hoovering, hanging christmas lights to combat the getting-dark-early thing) I spent it in bed. We got a recomendation for a chiropractor and massage therapist from one of my BF's friends but of course they're neither of them open on weekends.  I've got an appointment with the MT later this afternoon so hopefully s/he can sort this out.

Update: actually, the appointment isn't until tomorrow. Buggerit.

The office is freezing.

I have drafts in my office that make. the. blinds. rattle.  We've had people up repeatedly, but they've basically said it's just "an old building".  So we've got these two electric heaters on full blast.  Of course, the boss just sent around an email saying we all needed to keep them off this week to "check real temperatures in the building".  So, tomorrow I'm bringing in a down coat!

Yuck! It's normally not too bad in here, but today everyone is super cold.

The boy has given me flu, I feel terrible. Honestly I just want to relax a little but he's really sick, I'm sick, my eye is giving me trouble. WHINE! :(

Poor you.  Good thing you're signed off work right now, huh?  Feel better.

I'm with those who are cold & hurty today.  Although sitting against a hot water bottle this morning has made my lower back a little better, so I might just be able to finally get some housework done this afternoon with my increased range of motion now - woohoo.  :P
