Leftover corn chowder. Tasting especially good as the flavours have melded nicely.

I've had a very uncharacteristically naughty lunch today of half a bagel with nothing healthy on it and chocolate cookies.  [smiley=curtain.gif]

Off for a burger and elephant ear from the local fall festival in just a few minutes. We were going to go tonight, but there is a chance of storms, so we decided to do our munching before the parade instead of after it.

“We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
― Dr. Seuss

I'm needing comfort:  a massive bowl of porridge with salty butter and golden syrup slathered all over it, and a really strong hot coffee.

I had porridge for lunch too! But, mine was curried with caramelized onions. So loving my savoury porridge!
