"average" amount of time apart?

Well, it was probably about 6 weeks, but now we'll be apart for about 10 weeks as of Monday when I fly over to have the baby. He'll come out in join me at the beginning of August for the birth, but it will be VERY tough being there and preganant without him

that stinks!

We try to see each other once a month, but on average, it's every 6 weeks.  Many of our trips are last minute and short.  For example, I may fly over next weekend if he doesn't have to go away for work - that will be 6 weeks since our last visit.  If I don't see him next weekend, it will be another 4 weeks until we see each other again.

Shortest was 10 months (He came in Jay 03 and then in Nov 03)

Longest was 1 year and 9 months (Aug 04 and then May 06)

I've seem to have won the longest lol...even my shortest is longer than everyone else. 

Shortest was 3 weeks...I went there in May 2005 to meet his family. My first time there. I loved it. Then he came to the US June 3 for my birthday. Longest is 3 months 1 week...done that twice. I usually start to lose it after two months which is why I'm thinking about just needing the separation and moving there instead.

Oh  goodness the shortest was 4 months that longest (in the middle of that right now and it's pure hell) will be 8.5 months.  I though it was the 6 week thing.  Can't wait to get married

I'm happy you have a date set to see him! Its always "easier" when you know when the next time will be!

14 wks til I go back to the Midlands...

My average has been around 3 months between visits.  By the time I move back to the UK in September, we'll have been apart a year and a month.

4 months shortest, 6months longest. Him being in the military does not help, he is always off somewhere doing something, BUt financially thats all we can do.

Gosh - I just looked at this thread.  My average has been blown!

It's been 4 months since we've seen each other and this now qualifies as the longest.  If he's not here next weekend it will be 5.    Totally unacceptable!

I hope we can go back to the once a month/6 weeks soon!

Average is about 1.5 months, but the longest time apart will be coming up between early october and middle of december...:-/

It's been really hard this time around(its been nearly a month)...im out of it and numb. Im just use to being in his company...and I miss him beyond words.

Shortest - about 6 weeks. Longest - 3 months. I start to get VERY restless after two months. We're getting married in April next year, so at least I know the waiting will permenantly be over soon! We were lucky because my fiance was a student for some of the time we have been together, so he was able to come over and be with me for 4 months over two summers. I really don't have anything to complain about and I definitely admire those of you who wait so long.

lets see...my waits have been.... 7 months...5 months...4 months...4 months....and now i'm amidst a 5 month wait.  I just wish it was Christmas already, so I could be flying over that ocean!
