Today mine is sunshine and 72 degrees! (Maybe a little tanning in my new back yard later today?)

Quit my job today!!!  Whoop whoop whoop!!!!!  Four weeks' notice, and between part-time schedule + annual leave days entitlement that I am still going to take means only six days left to work there (in four weeks), evaaah!!!  See ya suckers!  ;) :D

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Going to be a SAHW until I figure out what I want to be when I grow up, or until I find the next (hopefully a lot better) job...  :)

Yay Mrs. R!!!  :D It's my last day at job #2 tomorrow, so I can imagine how you feel.

My happiness is...the above, plus, it's delightfully cool this morning. I've got my sweater on and a hot cuppa in my hand. Feeling very at peace!

Thanks all!  Excited & maybe a wee bit scared too (change!).  :)

PP, I'm going to be awesome like you are now too!

PL, ha - well I used to moan a lot about my job, but then decided that I'd better put up or shut up or do something about it.  I've sat quietly on the fence entertaining the idea of leaving for a little more than 2 years - and it was finally just time to do it!

Lots of plans for stuff/projects to do -- not least which is thinking what my next career move/choice might be, plus tonnes of DIY here that needs doing, among many other things.  DH & I will see how we get on for about a year or so, and figure out if it's something sustainable for longer & what not.  We'll have to watch our pennies a bit more carefully & maybe not have as many far-flung holidays for a bit (we broke a record on number/amount of holidays this year!) - but it's okay.  I'm confident we'll figure it out & my DH is just wonderful to me.  :)

new brakes on the car, crisp mornings, changing leaves and new kittens that were just born yesterday. Can't wait to meet them!

Mountain Biking in the Caringorms.
A beautiful, clear day out there today.  There was a lovely moment, cycling - purple heather on either side of me, pine trees scattered about, blue twinged mountains (some with snow) as far as I could see.  One lone, traditional cottage in the hills with sheep surrounding it.   I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

And I didn't fall off my bike  ;D

Does anyone know when the pumpkins will at least be out to buy this year? I know they were supposed to be a bit late...
