Does anyone know when the pumpkins will at least be out to buy this year? I know they were supposed to be a bit late...

I saw pumpkins for sale at my local CoOp yesterday.  :)

I've been buying sugar pumpkins for about a month now - I've seen 'em in Tesco, the Co-Op, and other places?   The Co-Op has bigger pumpkins.  You may have to look around, not everywhere has them until just before Halloween for the big ones.

Hhmm...I may try my local Tesco's again then (I haven't been there for about 2 weeks, so it could be there by now!) I think last year I was able to get good one's from our local Sainsbury's...Haven't been there in ages either! May have to do some scoping around! I'll have to find a co-op that's not a rinky-dink little store in the area as well! (Or maybe ASDA?)

Thank you!!  :)

A lot like apple butter or like a really thick applesauce, but is full of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice flavour. Heaven if you ask me!

Two crock pots of beef stew simmering away. Most of the family likes mushrooms but a couple don't, so we made it both ways.

Brilliant catchup with Andee yesterday when she came over to mine for coffee!  :)

Shredding 6.5 years worth of pay stubs and chucking out all the boarding passes I saved for ILR and naturalisation. :)

This made me smile.  I'd probably have some sort of celebratory bonfire, too!!

Loving this!  ;D

Happiness is knowing that my mom's surgery yesterday went well! She has another appointment in a few weeks to re-check a few spots for left over potential cancer cells, but they are really confident they got it all! I'm optimistic!  :)
