I can hear a man outside my window singing row row row your boat with his young daughter. What a cool dad!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

That is a cool dad! I love those moments where you get a glimpse of pure joy in something so simple as a song between parent and child. Doesn't require batteries, money, or a day at an amusement park to have fun, just a simple song to make both of them happy. :)

One cannot say it enough.
Today is our first cracking day of weather- sunshine - we've been cloudy and clammy, but not anymore!
Ate outside at lunch!  Ahhh! Yay!

Finding leeks at Home Depot! I have no idea why we didn't check there first. We have been to all sorts of garden centers and green houses. They were planted last night, and I have already been out to visit them with more water today.

Being called 'Miss' by a guest a work. At 42 I really enjoy being called miss.  ;D Makes me feel like a kid again. He, his wife and two grandkids have been there a couple days, and they are the nicest family.

Ran into friends last night who were off to go play at a traditional music session - so we had a very nice impromptu night out listening to traditional Scottish music, watching the dancing, and drinking real ales, and eating good pub food.  I have to pinch myself sometimes that I live in the best place on earth!

Looking out the window to watch all the assorted poultry running around the farmer's field -- also rabbits and a pheasant.

MIL will be here tomorrow for two weeks of catching up, fun, shopping, swimming, and eating too much. We haven't seen her since her visit in August last year, not long after hubby and I moved back here.
