Two things you are happy about today/

1. My kindle came yesterday. It's my belated birthday present from DH, MIL, FIL, and BIL. I'm really excited about it!
2. I get to see my SIL and niece again today. I only just saw them 2 weeks ago!

3. My medication was actually delivered on time today (well, 2 minutes late, but they called) with no issues for the first time in months.

1. I'M HERE! And getting the flat etc the way I like it

2. Just booked a Halloween trip to Glastonbury including a family Hallow's Eve party at Chalice Well, and a stay at a kid-friendly B&B! And the little one's giraffe costume is on it's way in the post. Can't wait!

Hooray and welcome to the UK!    The Halloween plans sound fun. We don't have set plans yet, but we do have some friends who dress up and hit the pub so I intend to see what they are doing.

I was coming to post my Halloween related things for the day's happiness when I saw your post. 

1. I remembered to get my Halloween socks out today (holiday specific socks have to be stored elsewhere because my sock drawer is shoved full since I am a sock addict)

2. I'll be putting the Halloween decorations up today. I have very few here, but plan to buy more and also bring more over next trip. Most of mine are still stored at mom's. I love Halloween and have more Halloween decorations than a lot of people have Christmas decorations.

Thanks and hello! I am loving it so far. Was a bit gutted to learn that there wasn't much in the way of trick or treating here, but this party should hopefully be fun (there's a children's parade and all!) Also I love socks, especially seasonal ones.

Let's see....

1. I have a stack of new graphic novels/trade paperbacks to read courtesy of my husband.

2. Tonight said husband will be out for a guy's hockey thing, so it will be just me and the baby (we haven't had a lot of alone time lately), and I think we're going to get McDonald's too It's terrible but I love it!

1. Our group for Saturday night's 'outing' is steadily growing. We're off to a town nearby to a pub and out for a curry, then back to town to hit another pub. It is a 'sensible shoes' kind of night, from the sound of it. (Heels and beer don't mix for me.)

2. Having a bit of an early start (normal for me) listening to Christmas music. 

1. Hubby is coming home early to watch the baby while I go to the doctor and he takes her to shop for my birthday presents! I am honestly just as happy to go to the doctor as I am getting a much-needed checkup and will finally get on some sort of birth control! (sorry if that's TMI ) Plus I can read my book in the waiting room without the little one, hahahaha

2. The hot weather is finally GONE and it's nice and chilly and grey! Sounds odd I know but I hate hot weather. I do however love chilly grey fall days!

2 week countdown until boyfriend comes to the states and were going to Florida. It's been so long, when he gets here, it will be exactly 4 months since I've seen him, and a year since we were official  

Got some H&M coupons, they are finally starting to put out more coupons, it helps cos the closest location is a half hour drive. So a trip to H&M soon!!

1. It is time to start wearing Halloween socks again.

2. It is getting closer to a great night out with friends Saturday.

1. I got to babysit my nephews (7 & 9) tonight. I'm cherishing every moment due to impending nuptials and move. Think I freaked them out saying "I'm going to miss you so much when I move to England"
2. Got to spend quality time with SIL today. She's usually so busy that we miss out. But we got in a good walk and rehearsal venue search. Dang, my bro really married well!!

1. I'm meeting a new acquaintance today to go to the antiques fair. She is a recent German expat who is in the same boat as me (no car, no job), so I am hoping that i can strike up a friendship with her.

2. My mother is transferring some extra cash to my bank account in honor of my birthday! I thought I was just getting a card from her so it's a nice surprise

1. Had a great weekend - saw my sister, BIL and nephews, whom I haven't seen in a while; had a nice impromptu visit with my grandma; and had a nice visit with Balmerhon and Mrs and Mr Robinson!

2. Had to get up for the commute to work this morning. I'm very grateful to have a job!

1. I have no duties, plans, or obligations today! I have had such a packed schedule lately that it's nice to just have a day to do whatever.

1.  I found really yummy fresh roasted corn-on-the-cob at the farmer's market.

2.  We're just off to the common for a late afternoon ice cream cone in the sun.
