Two things you are happy about today/

1. Best friend's husband had good results for prostate cancer follow-up tests.

2. We're off for a quick jaunt across the Atlantic next week.

1. Two new pairs of Halloween socks, bought yesterday. I was going to buy them, but mom ended up paying for them as my 'trick or treat' from her.

2. Work went quick today and I am off tomorrow.

1. I grilled all by myself today for the first time, and did a pretty good job of it.

2. Still feeling happy about mom's job. After we lost my sister last year, she tried to go back to work and it was just too much. Being able to now is a huge step.

Beautiful weather this weekend, bike ride with my husband, sticking to my first week on the Slimming World diet.

1. Great swim this morning. We've started getting up a little earlier to get an extra 10 minutes in.

2. October is nearly here! We've decided to have a horror film a night all month. I love October and all the spooky fun that goes with it.

1. Down 20 pounds. Things weren't as good as hoped, but I still lost a pound last week.

1. There was a definite chill to the air this morning, and we only reached a high of 69. Fall is here.

2. It is time to switch out summer clothes for fall clothes, which I will start tomorrow. I love this time of year.

Had 2 o'clock drinks at work, Mad Med style. Sometimes work can be fun!

We've decided we won't renew the lease on our flat. Oh the possibilities of where we will go.

1. I managed to get all the clothes swapped over to the new season today instead of just making a start on the project.

2. I had a bit of a purge while I was at it and cleared out quite a few clothes I no longer wear but was hanging on to for various reasons.

3. The jeans I was wanting to diet into before our trip fit! Yay! The problem is, they will most likely be too big before we go.
