I have a victoria sponge cake in the oven right now.  It's not from scratch, it's one of the Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself box mixes but we've had it before and it's nice.

Hmmm, my favorite. How could he think that would not be good :o  I've got a great recipe for a crumble with strawberries and rhubarb that's fab too.

A small batch of chocolate chip cookies for no particular reason. They are good!

I froze the other half of the batter, so next time I get a craving, they are ready to go.

really good idea! I will have to do that next time, make a full batch, but only bake half. That's fewer calories when DH and I eat them all in 2 days :)

I made chocolate rice krispie treats - easy! Melt baking chocolate, cover the krispies, then put in little cupcake paper thingies and let them set. Tastes like crunch bars!

Pineapple upside down cake.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Haven't done it yet, but if I get my act together, it'll be chocolate sandwich cookies.
