Friday Five!

1. I finally got my hair done today... no more 2 inch roots!
2. P got offered a great job, more money, with a very established company. 
3. I am going to LA in 6 days, for 2 1/2 weeks.
4. We are having dinner out tonight.
5. French market is in town this weekend, which means lots of nice treats!

You had two inch roots, too?    Mine will disappear this evening!  Yay!  Congrats on his job offer!

Thanks! Emmm... Reading    Actually, we are going to stay here for a while and he can take the train. We'll see how that goes. It's an hour each way.

1. It's been a hellish busy week at work
2. The eighteen year old seems happy at Uni.
3. We're all having a sleep in tomorrow
4. I am so so tired.
5. The plans this weekend involve a lot of cleaning and sorting.

pkessler, congrats on your DH's job. Glad that his interview went well and he received an offer! 

I have to say an hour commute would be a much better idea than moving to Reading.  That said there are lovely areas outside of Reading! 

Sorry to be negative but its not a nice place to live in the UK..... we have been here 4+ yrs (expensive and souless), we are here because of my job. In hindsight, we should have moved within communting distance. My job is ending soon and we are moving on, can't wait! 

1. Found out that a co-worker from another office is sending me something from his vacation in Tuscany!
2. Still no good prospects on the house hunt.
3. Almost over my cold.
4. My hair looks really good today.
5. Stupid landlord still has not gotten a plumber in to fix the shower and it's going on two weeks now.

Thanks! It looks like they will be paying for his travel, so we will probably be able to afford an inexpensive car and a season ticket for the train.

1.  My meetings are done for the week
2.  I think I am getting a sinus infection
3.  We have no major plans for the weekend, so we can kick back and relax a bit
4.  I got to wear my favourite coat today, and I was warm in it
5.  I found my husbands stash of scrubs dvds! 

1. my moisturiser was 1/2 price at Boots today.
2. The husband is out tonight
3. The ten-year old is at someone else's house for tea so I don't have to cook tonight.
4. I know I have plans for the weekend but I honestly can't remember what they are.
5. I  went to work late today and only worked four hours!

1.  I am leaving work early today because I was here until nearly 8 last night.
2.  I ordered the doggie crates for the dogs big international adventure to the UK and they were only $75 for two!
3.  I am not feeling well because of terribly allergies.
4.  I wish my car would sell because then all the big things will be taken care of for my move.
5.  Its FRIDAY!!!

1. Everyone has decided to take Friday afternoon off so I'm here alone for the rest of the day. Might be busy, but at least it will be quiet
2. Trying to teach myself how to layer and splice audio tracks this afternoon for a new video project, should be interesting.
3. It's beautiful outside, perfect early fall day!
4. I'm finally almost completely over the killer cold and finally feel human again.
5. Have went a bit nuts and downloaded way too much from Itunes.

1.  It's Friday so that means Mike will be more relaxed tonight.
2.  We will finish making and printing out our wedding invitations tonight.
3.  We go to see our friends' band play tomorrow.
4.  I'm going to make time to practice my music today.
5.  Mung bean curry for dinner--yum.

1.  my normally anti-social dog played with a border collie this morning (he likes people but usually hates other dogs!)
2.  cleaning  MIL's cottage and closing it up for the winter
3.  2+ hour ferry trip at 3pm
4.  hopefully home by 9 and in my own lovely bed by 10
5.  trying not to kill DH along the way -- he is seriously bugging me today.

1.  My cold is still with me and that sucketh.
2.  But I felt well enough to walk my dog in the fields today so that's a bonus.
3.  The leaves are turning gold, and, despite the humidity, it is a moody fall day.
4.  That has put me in the spirit for apple pie, which I will now make.
5.  Once I get the apples.  Off to the market!

1. Happy it's the end of a week from hell.
2. Looking forward to several hours to myself tomorrow morning.
3. I should be working right now.
4. Bought some really cute Christmas wrapping paper yesterday.
5. Had a really good chocolate chip muffin a few minutes ago.
