I've made the decision to move back home.
I'm in a different situation in that I've no forms to fill out for anyone or anything, but... I'm going!
When will depend on my job appraisal meeting tomorrow (so quickly my job has turned from  nice paycheck to so bad it's not worth it), and my lease.
Overall, I feel right about it, and though it won't be easy, relieved and excited!

Wow, congrats on the decision. I gather it was a tough one.

I'm jealous you don't have forms to contend with though!!

Back to CA I assume?

Yep! Back to Cali; to do things better (hopefully!) than when I left.  But even if I don't, my longterm life is there.

Honestly, it wasn't that tough; just a series of events and thoughts added up to make sense that it's time.

WOW!  I thought you were so happy in London you were looking at buying a flat!?

Hope everything goes smoothly with work and congrats!  You know I'm in your court since I can't wait to move back to SF next year!  ;)

Thank you :)  I am excited.

I am 'happy' - it's not out of being unhappy; but just realizing I'm missing out on things I want to be doing, and I can do them better/ more easily in LA... let alone closer to family, etc.
The demands of my new job first and foremost (it's WAY more than I'd anticipated), and a bit about being committed to a flat just got me thinking... it's not me (not what I want to be doing).
It's good all the way 'round.
I love what I've done; no regrets.

Like others said, it seemed like a difficult decision for you.  If it feels right to you then that's all that matters!  Best of luck with the move!  Add me to the jealous about no paperwork list!
